North America

USA, Canada and Alaska

The massive continent of North America has so much to offer the traveller, it’s difficult to know where to begin!  A land of contrasts from the Arctic circle down to Central Latin America, this region is home to the true ‘cowboys and Indians’ of our story books and wild west films!  Alaska, though part of the United States, is so huge and so different, it’s often separated, quite rightly into a different destination altogether.

The huge polar ice shelves of the Arctic circle cover the top of this mighty continent – expeditions around the Arctic circle can be arranged or wilderness adventures in the tundra regions, moose, bears and float planes are common sites over parts of Alaska and Canada.  Hike the massive Rocky Mountains, canoe the mighty Great Lakes and wonder at the Niagra Falls. Cities of North America offer long weekends or fly drive centres with plenty of glitz and glamour along the way – Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco or Dallas … no end to entertainment here! Combine the USA with it’s pacific state of Hawaii for a fabulous twin centre holiday.

Fly drive holidays to North America are a great way to travel huge distances and make the most of your time on the continent with cars, motorhomes or motorbikes to choose from.  Escorted group tours, adventure expeditions into the parks and wilderness areas, cruises or train travel, whichever mode you choose, there is something for everyone here.  If four legs are more your thing, ask me about ranch holidays – play cowboys and indians for real!

Travel from one side of the States to the other, a massive adventure however you want to do it!.  So whether you are travelling alone, in a group, by car, on foot or by horseback, let’s take a look at the land of opportunity …

Why not visit ...

Hawaii

Hawaii is a fabulous tropical destination, long famous for surfing and hula hula girls! Volcanoes, palm fringed beaches, tropical gardens and fabulous seafood. Ideal as a twin centre with parts of America such as California.

The United States of America

The United States of America are huge and varied - busy cities and the party life of Vegas are contrasted by the great outdoors, fabulous wilderness areas, national parks and canyons. Amazing self drive territory and fantastic train journeys can be enjoyed here.

Alaska

Brown Bears, Whales, huge glaciers, pine forests and mountains! That’s what Alaska mean to me … a fabulous destination for a wildlife holiday with whales, seals, porpoises, bears and sea otters.

Canada

Surrounded on three sides by oceans and containing over two million lakes, it’s not surprising that travel around Canada involves covering long distances! The geography of Canada is hugely varied from the frozen barren north, through mountains and forests to wheat plains, it is a beautiful country of amazing proportions.
