Circumnavigation of the Arctic

This is a truly epic journey and adventure of around 66 days, start and end Anchorage, Alaska. Travel round the whole of the Arctic Circle, encompassing the frozen lands that surround the North Pole.

Embark at Anadyr and traverse the Bering Strait – Explore Wrangel Island and New Siberian Islands – follow the north Russian coast through Severnaya Zemlya and Franz Josef Land then to Murmansk  – north to Spitsbergen, (Svalbard) part of Norway, then at sea to Greenland and travelling round the coast of this huge landmass across Baffin Bay – Arctic passage across Northern Canada through Pond Inlet, Devon and Beechey Islands and Prince Regent Inlet – Bellot and Victoria Straits – Edge of the Beaufort Sea to Chukotka Peninsula back to Alaska … a mammoth voyage!

The ship used for this amazing adventure, the Kapitan Khlebnikov is soon to be retired from tourist travel, so join us for the ‘End of an Era’ voyage, following in the footsteps of explorers such as Amunsden and Franklin through the heart of the Arctic.

Ask me about this and other polar voyages and cruises – I can create a bespoke holiday of a lifetime!
