Luxury Flying Safari

This fabulous luxury safari is operated by Elewana Africa, a safari company in Tanzania who run a collection of exclusive properties with excellent standards of service, guiding and food and wine.  This 8 night safari has regular departures and uses a luxury plane to transfer between the parks and lodges, maximising your time on the ground to make the most of the facilities on offer in all locations.

Travel in style and comfort in Elewana’s Cessna Grand Caravan light aircraft, with nine executive club class seats. Road transfers and game drives are in safari cruisers equipped with binoculars, guide and reference books, bottle coolers, bush lunch awnings and power point to charge your camera.  These safaris are based on two people sharing a room and shared transfers with other Elewana guests.

Encompassing the main areas of a Northern Tanzania safari holiday, you will visit Tarangire National Park with it’s huge swamps and plains, a birding haven and with plenty of big cat sightings, elephants, giraffe and a wonderful landscape of rolling hills and baobab trees.  The Ngorongoro Crater is a world famous natural wonder, the basin of a collapsed caldera, it is home to several prides of lion, cheetah, leopard, huge bull elephants, masses of wildebeeste, zebra and buffalo and the endangered black rhino.  The Serengeti National Park is a huge expanse of wilderness dotted with rocky kopjes and rivers, home to Great Migration as it moves between here and Kenya’s Masai Mara.
