Round Britain Coastal Cruise

Travel in style around the British Isles on board the Saga Sapphire for 15 days departing 29 August 2013 from Dover.  Explore the dramatic coastline of our island home and learn about it’s fascinating history.

This tour around the heritage sites of the British Islaes visits plenty of national monuments, sites of interest and historical locations, with plenty of time ashore as the sailing will take place mostly overnight. Highlights include the Giant’s Causeway,  St David’s city on the South Wales coast, the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Edinburgh.

Embark your ship at Dover and and spend the first couple of days at sea travelling along the East coast of Britain. Stopping at Edinburgh you have a couple of days to look around before heading to the far north and Kirwall in Orkney. Around the top of Scotland you stop at Tobermory and Greenoch before arriving in Douglas, Isle of Man.  Across to Northern Ireland you visit Belfast then down to Dublin before crossing the Irish Sea to Milford Haven and St David’s in South Wales. Back across to southern Ireland and a visit to Cork before you turn back into the English Channel and stop at Falmouth in Devon.  Finally, across to the channel islands and Guernsey before returning to Dover where your journey ends.
