Special interest and school adventures

For special interest holidays there are no end of possibilities.  If you run or are a member of a local club or society and want to arrange a trip for your group of friends to a part of the world which offers an experience of your special interest, give me a call. Or if you want me to include a special interest on a tailor made holiday that’s also possible.  Painting lessons or cookery courses are popular around Europe in particular.

  • Maybe you have a sailing club who want to charter a large yacht for a long distance challenge?
  • Got an orchestra that wants to go and play the Sydney Opera House?
  • Or a zoological society that wants to see their endangered animals in the wild?
  • Member of a  motorcycle club and want to ride Route 66 in America?

Whether it’s a gardening club that wants to visit botanical gardens, stately homes or have an expert guide on a botany tour or a wine tasting club that wants to sample the vineyards at source, I can help with anything that you want to do!

There are many group holidays and adventures which would be suitable for school groups and special interest clubs.  I can work with specialist school adventure holiday operators to find the right experience to suit your group of school children, or if you have a large group associated to club or society with a special interest, give me a call. These large group adventure holidays will combine discovering the world with an unrivalled range of action-packed experiences.

Teachers will rightly be concerned that wherever they send their school children, the holiday needs the right level of supervision and guiding, that there is a genuine commitment to Responsible Tourism and that they can trust the operators knowing that they are experienced in large groups and the security that brings with it.  Travel around the world, particularly for children, has a strong educational content, broadening the mind and involving them in new cultures and learning new things – experience gained by adventure travel is something that can never be replicated in the classroom. It is also great to get children to meet their counterparts all around the world and see how they go to school and mix with their families to interact with foreign languages and food for example.

Here are some examples of school adventure trips or group holidays that I can book for you:
